Day 6 - I have finished my overview and am now starting to put the design into Adobe Illustrator. Once I finish this I need to start on the outside view of the theatre. I will make this design the same as the design on the inside and go for a more modern look.

Day 5 - I had to go back onto my original design because i realized that because I only have 10 meter ceilings it would not work well to have a second level. i am still going to stay with my entrance idea but I will have to change the seating area to try and accommodate more seats.

Day 4 - I continued the drawings of the theatre and I mainly focused on the entrance to the theatre. I have decided on putting a sitting area/flower box thing I also positioned the bathrooms

Day 3 - I continued to draw ideas for my theatre, I have decided to give the theatre a more modern look instead of the old fashioned look most theatres have. I have also decided to give my theatre a very large open entrance area that is lit by the sun in the day and will have solar panels to charge the lights at night. Another thing I have chosen to do is make the theatre out of mostly cardboard to reduce weight. It will also make it easier to build the complex corners and edges of the theatre booths and seats.

day 2 - I have began the day designing the rough drafts of the theatre. I have desided to combine the video veiwing area and the acting area.

Toms summative project

My summative project is to construct a Theatre which is on a 25cm x 25cm block and is to be 10cm high. The theatre is supposed to have a film facility and a performing venue.

Day 1 - I am brain storming ideas and trying to come up with a way to either combine the performance venue and the film facility or to have them in separate rooms. I am also deciding on weather or not to have a parking lot or some sort of garden area.
